Data Quality and Reporting Analyst

Location: New York, NY or Herndon, VA

We are looking for an energetic and goal oriented data analyst to join our growing team. You will be working in an international, fast-paced startup environment, analyzing data collected from user observations and survey-driven interviews. The ideal candidate has experience working with data in a scientific, social science, research, or marketing setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist Project Managers with data collection for quality control, analysis and reporting
  • Analyze data sets for quality control and fraud detection
  • Clean datasets for client delivery
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of Findyr’s data structures and metrics
  • Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of people and teams
  • Work closely with engineers to identify opportunities for product improvement
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to provide timely feedback on incoming data
  • Take on varied and fast-moving analysis projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in data analysis or statistical analysis
  • 1 year of experience developing and manipulating large datasets
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take charge of multiple projects and manage time effectively
  • Motivated and conscientious self-starter with high attention to detail and drive to persevere under pressure
  • Is adaptable, resourceful, and personable
  • International experience is a plus
Skills
  • Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience with SPSS, SAS, Tableau, or other analysis tools a plus
  • Experience with Python or R a plus

Part-Time Project Management Assistant

Location: New York, NY

We are looking for an energetic and goal oriented Project Management Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a current college student or recent graduate who is looking to gain exposure to the start-up job market.

You will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours a week in-office. We are located at Bryant Park. Your work schedule will be developed around your school schedule and we allow flexibility for school exams and projects.

You will be working with survey data and observable data (product prices for CPIs etc.) in an international, fast-paced, start-up environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist Project Managers with data collection for quality control, analysis and reporting
  • Provide some clerical assistance to the project management team
  • Perform basic data quality control on our platform
  • Assist in user-recruiting efforts around the world
  • Develop user-communication pieces
  • Perform basic survey testing on app
  • Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of people and teams
  • Take on varied and fast-moving projects
Qualifications
  • Currently working towards a Bachelors degree
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to handle project-related work to support technology initiative
  • Motivated and conscientious self-starter with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
